About Me

Hi, I’m Naren, a sophomore at ABV-IIITM Gwalior. I work in the space between high-level abstractions and bare metal — binary analysis, compiler internals, and low-level tooling.

What I’m Working On

I’m a Google Summer of Code 2026 contributor with the Rizin reverse engineering framework, building class structure analysis for multi-language binaries — recovering lost OOP abstractions (vtables, class hierarchies, devirtualization) across C++, Objective-C, Swift, Rust, D, and Java. So far I’ve shipped a D language demangler and Windows SEH parsing for both x86 and x64, and I’m currently writing a Swift demangler. I also contribute to the Capstone disassembly engine.

Technical Focus

My primary languages are C and C++. I’ve been spending a lot of time and learning LLVM internals — TableGen, SelectionDAG, the MC layer — to understand how compiler backends model target instruction sets.

Looking ahead, I’m interested in the intersection of compilers and machine learning: as AI workloads move toward specialized, non-traditional silicon, building the toolchains to drive that hardware is the kind of problem I want to work on.
